Oh boy it’s hot!

W9 R2 completed but oh boy it was hot! 31degrees in Stockport!!! The cold wind and rain pale into insignificance compared to the heat! Apparently it’s getting hotter - I’m not sure I will be doing my graduation run if it does!!

So here’s a question - how do you all gauge how far you have run? I assumed I was doing about 3.5 K but when I have put my steps recorded during my run (pacer on phone) into a converter it says I’m doing between 5.5 and 5.9 K which is amazing! I used kyles converter then tried a couple of others - what do you think? How accurate are they? I have tried to google the distance of the park I run in but it doesn’t say! 🏃‍♀️

You could treat yourself to a running watch for your graduation gift to yourself🙂. Garmin forerunner 10 is the least expensive but does all you need 👍

Running watch and Strava is a good combination....as misswobble says..the Forerunner 10 is a great start :)

Well done on overcoming the heat.

Since graduation, I have been looking for a known 3 mile or 5k route. I downloaded the MapMyRun app, kept the phone in a pocket in my cycling top and ran until it told me I'd done 3 miles.

I'm not looking to extend the distance at the moment, so that does me fine.
