Run Three. Completed it this morning and woke up later ( Iwork a night shift) with chronic neck and back pain. Took all sorts of pills and woke up 6 hours later a little stiff. Have been reading sites for advice and maybe overdoing it? Or just poor posture? Foam rollers or limbering up before or down after a run seem to be possible solutions. Anyone else suffer the same problem?

I had similar problems - got all the way to graduating doing a few warm up exercises from RunnersWorld and then my body started to hurt and ache. After graduating I couldn't run. So I started pilates and followed advice from iannodaTruffle and did a few extra warm ups and after my runs I do stretching exercises: prostatecanceruk.org/get-in...

Result is after 6-7 weeks I can run without pain and after a run I do not hurt or ache. I just wish I'd started at the very beginning of c25k!
