Goodness me! Completed my last run with a walk today and it went very well indeed! During the first 10min run I accidentally paused the app and ended up running for 14 minutes. I resumed and had my 3min walk and was incredibly able to run another 13 min before my cool down. The excess wasn’t planned but it felt amazing. No aches or pains. Just a huge sense of achievement! With the warm ups and cool downs it cane to 5.3km too, though of course I don’t count it as a 5k.

Just take it slowly and carefully over the next few runs, and try not to start off too quickly, even if you feel like it. 😉 There will be plenty of time to speed up at the end and finish on a high! 😊
