Shin splints!!! 😩😩

Since graduating a couple of weeks ago I have done two Park runs and am now starting to suffer from shin splints. Can anyone please offe any advice on how best to treat or deal with them

Shin splints are partially caused by the impact of running, so try to reduce it.

Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.

Thank you so much for your advice. Slowing down not really an option otherwise I will be walking lol. But I will certainly get a gait analysis done. Sounds like sound advice. Thank you
