Week 9 I'm coming for you! A bit of a ground out run tonight, I haven't had a chance to run since Friday because of life just getting in the way and went straight out tonight as soon as I got home from work. I was in a rush to be done as I had an appointment at 7pm and was cutting it tight time wise and I think this is the reason for my pace being a bit faster than usual. I don't know where in my mind I thought going faster would change the fact that I had 28mins to run regardless and gosh it was tough! Struggled with being out of breath a few times so will slow it down a bit and take week 9 a little bit easier. On the homeward stretch now! I also hit my first weight loss mini goal today,having lost 20lbs since i started all this running and sensible eating lark at the start of April 😁. Strava is cheating me out of 7 seconds, I swear I ran til the very end! Happy running everyone

Well done! Yea very easy to let time pressure you. Extra stretching may be needed!

Congratulations and on the weight loss too - I wish I had knuckled down to that in April - I started tracking what I am eating this week (holidays etc got in the way).

I know what you mean about feeling you should run faster to get it out of the way! 😂

Thank you! I've tried slimming world and other things in the past which have worked but slowly bad habits creep back in. I'm determined that this time I've made a long term change to just be healthier. My weekly weighing will be done once I reach my next 10lb goal. Good luck with your tracking!
