First time running in the wet, and more significantly, wind. Last night I had a stomach ache and voided after dinner - some bad blueberries I think, so I was pretty empty at 5:30 this morning for the run. You can see the hard start in the Strava pace trace (includes the warm up and down), but eventually I got my pace and I still managed my faster ending.

I've clearly emptied the glycogen stores, because I feel totally washed out 3.5 hours after the run, legs like lead. This is a new experience, not enjoying it much, but hopefully the body finding nothing else to turn to glycogen will start on the fat. Onward!
