Wildlife encounters

W6r2 completed and had a new wildlife encounter today that might mean I’ll have to change plans for later runs. So far I’ve seen snails (even passed a few) dogs ( followed by a tiny wee one with short legs and nearly as much grey hair as me - had to check I was actually running!!) butterflies (a bright red one but no chance to stop and identify it) but today it was a dead and rotting baby badger! The problem is it’s right at the start of a long flat path that’s central to most of my runs and without it I’d have to tackle hills (well slight inclines) or head into the unknown. I think I’ll just have to hope the scavengers take over. Oh the joys is the countryside!

Haha not a great start to your run, hope it’s been removed soon...how did you find this run? I’ve just finished it today, found the first 10 minutes great but struggled with the last 5 minutes of the second run. Still managed it but I could well have been one of those snails you passed!!
