Aching shoulders

Run 2 of week 1, and so far so good. Only issue so far is the ache I have for days after a run across my shoulders and bottom of my neck. Any ideas why? Don’t think I’m tense when I’m running, but don’t know how I could relax my arms more either...

Are you tilting your head back when you run? Its one of my bad habits which I have to keep a check on - that gives neck/shoulder aches. Make sure you are looking ahead or slightly down. With your arms loosely by your sides give them a shake which might help relax them.

You need relaxed hands, not gripping.
