Completed this morning. Found this one really tough going. I normally run early evening but today did a morning run. Drank plenty water but no time for breakfast!! Not sure if I found it hard as no fuel in tank. Anyway got to the end.
I ran in the morning because I’m running/walking Race for life on Sunday morning. Bit worried now as it will be a morning run but will make sure up in time for breakfast.
I intend to complete the 25min run during the RFL. Would really like advice from you kind folk on fuelling up for what feels like a mammoth task at this stage. Xx

No need to fuel up for a 5k run if your diet is good. As a runner you should drink a minimum of 2.5-3 litres per day, whether running or not, so make sure you have plenty of fluids on board the day before.
I know if I run early i dont eat. If i run after 9am, i do eat. A small bowl of porridge and perhaps half banana. At least an hour and half before I run.
