When should i be expected to reach the 5k or 3.1 mile mark? As I've just completed this run. Never in a month of Sundays would I thought I'd be running /jogging for 25 minutes but I'm so grateful to this app and the other on here that have gave me tips along the way. Thank you I'm over the moon. Yippee

Well done for reaching 25 minutes, amazing how the programme works isn't it?
But it is designed to get you running for 30 minutes and many people do not reach the magic 5k until after graduation, when they have continued to build their strength and stamina. And even then the 5k is likely to take more than 30 minutes.
But it doesn't matter, the important thing is to keep running regularly and hopefully to keep enjoying it, however you choose to continue your running life.
On Sunday it will be 2 years since I took my first running steps and I still haven't reached the 30 minute mark, nor do I expect to to be honest. I still run three times a week, twice on my own and parkrun on a Saturday. I recently broke my long-standing target of under 34 minutes - in fact I managed 32.56 on a tourist parkrun, then 33.19 back at my home one. I love getting a pb but they are not as important to me as enjoying the run.
So don't worry about your distance at this stage, get to the end of the programme then build on your success. You may build up your distances (sensibly over time, there is plenty of support available on the Bridge to 10K forum) or just run for fun. But whatever, enjoy it!
As has been said, your focus for now should be on getting your engine to run for increasingly longer periods of time. Get into the habit of running regularly every week, and the times will drop/ distances will increase.
Do not feel that you should be completing any specific distance - the program isn't designed like that.
Well done for completing week 7 😃 I have graduated and still don’t run 5k in 30 minutes! If I did I would probably keel over at the end of it 😊
