Had a couple of patchy runs recently. The other evening I attempted to run home from work. For those who know Sheffield, I started at Ladys Bridge and headed towards Handsworth, about 5 miles or so. Hit the wall about half way and walked the rest. The fact that it was hot and sunny didn’t help, as well as that I’d not really eaten since lunchtime.

This morning, had a healthy breakfast, and set off under the most beautiful, beautiful grey sky I’ve ever seen; made it to 8km. Even saw a deer on the way to top it off!
