I was sport mad in my earlier years, played football, cricket, squash, all the usuals, until I got to my mid 30’s. Took up golf, but hadn’t really run since those earlier sporty days. I’m now 60 & thought I needed to get myself a little more active - found couch25k & thought I’d try this. Week 1 was as tough as I thought having not run in 25 years. Friday (non run day) was out out for a barbecue- & a few beers, didn’t think wk3 run 1 was going to happen, it did, really surprised myself looking forward to Monday’s run now.
