Brisk walk! More like a slow stagger.

W4 R1 in the bag, running for 5 minutes seemed so unlikely just 3 weeks ago, it just goes to show the program is working so far. However is it just me that the walks following any run be it 3 or 5 minutes is anything but brisk. I know it is meant to keep your blood pumping and aids fitness but for me as much as I would like them to be brisk they really are just slow staggers accompanied by noisy panting! Anyone else?

I was the same. Trying to avoid collapsing in a heap and dreading the next running phase. I much prefer the continuous runs, even though they are harder in theory!

Just keep the legs moving and you will be fine.

I’m on W4R1 and have exactly the same issue - felt like I was staggering during my walks!
