I write a long and lyrical post on Saturday after my first w9 run but it disappeared into the ether. After all my w7 misery, w8 was quite straightforward and here I am with one run to go. It’s taken me almost 5 months and a lot more than 27 outings but every run has done something good , even if it wasn’t quite what Laura was suggesting. I’m nowhere near 5k but can see that I will get there as if I go slowly enough I think I can go for longer than 30 minutes. When I consider what I felt like in week 1 I can hardly believe what I just wrote. So to all of you getting started, I just want to say that it really is possible. And that the forum does a fabulous job of supporting and encouraging and celebrating all of our successes.
