W8R2 and first 5k today!

My sister signed me up for my first parkrun 5K today, I really and I mean REALLY didn’t want to do it due to not even graduating the C25K app yet. The heat was unbearable and headphones died 10 minutes in, but I done it! it was hard and I wanted to give up the whole time but I completed it in 42 minutes 58 seconds. Feeling very proud. This app is amazing as I had never even really done any exercise at all before. Keep it up everyone, if I can do it you can.

That is a fantastic achievement Laurajessica! I love Parkrun (didn't even know it existed until I started this programme!) and did my 4th one with my son this morning.

Always..well done...at my current speed at week 5 I would take over an hour to do 5k..you did good 🤩
