You do run... it is just wet:

Lovely and refreshing in the warmer days.... splashing thro' puddles and generally having fun.

You just get dry afterwards:)

I do and I quite enjoy it. Especially when it’s colder and you can have a nice warm shower after.

Having said that with kids and work I have a narrow window to run so I have to go whatever the weather.

Nothing wrong with choosing to stay dry if you can 😀

I do and will today despite torrential rain being forecast. Bring on 5/2!! ☔️☔️☔️

Well I did R1W2 in the drizzle and it was fine. This morning I planned on having a go at R2 of this week straight after the nightshift but was unsure after being advised not to run with a chest infection. However the rain is coming down in bucket loads so my mind was made up for me. Hence being now comfy on the sofa with a fleecy blanket and coffee 😊!

So no.....Definitely not a wimp lol

I like to run in light rain if I have a cap on (but then I’m probably a bit weird)🤣

I was supposed to do week 2run3 this morning but its pouring here and I couldn't bring myself to go out in it, hopefully it will be better tomorrow, definitely not a wimp in my books.

When I started the programme last September, I thought I would never enjoy running in the cold, in the rain, in the wind... Running this winter in the snow, rain and against the wind, I can tell you I enjoy it whatever the weather is like, and I find it far more difficult to cope with warm weathe now! I actually like the rain when it's not too cold : I feel I "glide" more easily; it's completely subjective but I get the same feeling when I run in the dark, your sensations are different and for me, everything seems smoother. Of course, I'm not talking about torrential rains and strong winds (definitely the toughest runs). Try it and see how you feel: you might get surprised!

(Psssssst, ...............don't tell anyone, but I started running in the glorious summer of 2013 and never had to run in the rain............which did set precedents in my brain. Since then I have only started a handful of runs in the rain..........I don't mind cold and don't really mind rain........ but cold rain is unlikely to be falling at the start of my runs........from a fellow wimp)

If you have your cap on and a lightweight run jacket you won’t get cold though. Unless you finish miles away from your front door that is, so you’d walk smartly or keep running 😃👍🏃‍♂️

I ran for the first time in light rain a few days ago and it was much better than I anticipated - keeps you nice and cool! 😎

Yes! Buy a cap.! 😃👍. I wear my lightweight run jacket too when it’s raining

I got both very cheaply from Aldi 🙂
