A bit about me!

Just your average guy who used to be fit as a fiddle back in my army days! But I let it all hang out, too much stress, poor eating, alcohol and no exercise has left me in the state I am in....... well 6 months ago I bought a bicycle traded the car for the bike (out of necessity really) and now I cycle 6 mile to work and back, that’s when I thought well you used to run get your ass in gear and go for it.. so that’s my story! Now I need help and motivation and that’s where you all come in so let’s get this thing done together!!!!

Go for it. I have done my 5th run after never running before. I've got some good running music to keep me going and Michael Johnson to push me along...I'm very motivated not to disappoint him!

Enjoy the journey, it’s such a clever programme. I didn’t think I would get this far. That said I have 20 min run this week which seems like a massive milestone so watch this space 😳

Well you're on the right path. This programme is fantastic and it teaches you more than just how to run.

Most of it is about state of mind and you've already decided change is going to happen so you've got a head start.

Good luck and have fun 👍😁

Welcome.

Show the wisdom gained by years and don't try to reproduce your feats of old......nice and easy wins the day.

Cyclists need to take special notice that running, because of the impact, causes damage to your muscles in a way that non impact sports don't.....hence the rest day from running. Also you may have basic stamina, but please take it easy through the programme as those legs take a while to adapt.

The guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Enjoy your journey
