Well I've managed it but it was quite tough. The first 10 mins or were hard going, I think I was anxious if I would be up to the full run. Did it though, yeeeee 😀 . My legs were a bit like jelly at the end, please no one say go slower, I would be walking 😦. But I'm sure my misgivings will be gone by next time.... never thought I would be where I am...

Yes these longer runs are where you can start to think about your form. Run tall, shoulders down and relaxed. Light steps.. Its a good idea to start your run nice and slowly, and relax into it once your breathing settles...

There is a link here about the toxic ten, which explains why the first ten minutes feel a bit tough. Its quite normal and a known phenomenon. Once I knew what to expect I found it helped me push through it to get to the running zone..

Well done.. relax and enjoy... light steps as Bluebirdrunner says...you are doing just fine.. and by the way, there is always... slower:)
