Things are improving

I was worried about how I would run after leaving the sunny Riviera. Back home, the temperature is around zero, which to my surprise I found very comfortable. Could definitely manage running in -5. The outdoors are not as beautiful, but somehow more suited for running. Ran twice, 4 km and my first 5 km today that took just under 40 minutes, not including a short pause in the middle (I ran towards some business and then back). As someone mentioned here, there are bad lungs days and bad legs days... today was the former, which I definitely prefer.

Bit the bullet and committed to swimming lessons, hopefully starting next week.

Does anyone feel awkward entering a shop or another facility in your running gear?

Thank you! I'm so proud and still can't believe I ran 5k - felt so easy I keep asking myself if I ran at all.
