Week 1 Update - Crikey what a shock!

Ooohf now I really know how unfit I am - that's not the shock, the bloody tramping around is and why the hell have I suddenly got all competitive with my fat a**e!! Got my new big girl daps on and a lil lycra (scary but hey no one said I needed to look fabulous 😜). So managed two outings since joining here Sunday, which is more than I've done in years. 5k and 6k respectively and in about an hour. Sad to report it was walking - jogging evaded me but I paid homage by at least thinking about it. Onwards and upwards, well done to everyone who's taken the leap and committed to this👍🏻👍🏻. Have a great Easter!

You are covering ground at the beginning of this tried and tested C25k programme that is more in line with 9 weeks and 27 runs at completion.

You are building a running body and a running brain and are on your journey of continuous learning and improvement.🤔

Trust the programme and facilitators, we do not want to see you come off the rails at the beginning of this gift that you are planning.🤔

Your brain and enthusiasm appears to be getting ahead of your legs and lungs.🤔

Thanks for reply 😁 You're spot on with assessment! I just got caught up in my playlist and didn't give it a thought really until I was back at my front door. Need to pay more attention and focus on listening to the program as you say.
