Barely completed this run - had to repeat it several times to get the full 25 minute continuous run. Have been left with a sore ankle after my last successful attempt. Any advice appreciated please.

Sounds like overuse injury to me. Don't run on it again until it feels better - its your bodies way of letting you know its had a bit too much.

Apply heat, (unless there is swelling, then apply cold compress) as and when you can. Its no miracle cure but it will alleviate any discomfort whilst it heals.

Thank you. I think I will wear an ankle brace and do a proper cool down afterwards.

Have you had gait analysis yet and got the appropriate shoes?

Make sure you stretch afterwards and do strengthening exercises for your ankle. Circling your foot, drawing the alphabet and standing on a pile of cushions. etc.

Thank you I will do a proper cool down after the session and try those stretch exercises.
