I think I was last here last year, and got to about week, uh, 4? Then for a bunch of reasons (mostly around my mental health - hypochondria is considerably unfun - and having screwed up my kneecap from crossing my legs too much) I quit. I've noticed with disappointment that, unsurprisingly, when I try again I'm back to finding week 1 difficult.

Difficult, at least, is an improvement from my last beginning. Back then I could barely manage it. I've restarted from the beginning, and hope to actually keep it up this time. I'm spending most of next week camping, so won't really be able to do much running, but I'm hoping the hill walking there will keep me from losing too much so I can jump in with week 3 (fingers crossed) straight after.

Anyone else here restarted from a failure? I'm a bit worried I'm just the sort of person that isn't cut out for something like this.

Hi , this is my 3rd go , pregnancy then a arthritic hip stopped me the first 2 times , I am going to do week 8 run 3 tomorrow (furthest I've got), I'm slow and ain't going to win any races but I get out there , go slow and listen to the advice of these wise guys , good luck
