I'd had a really hard day with kids, being calm yet feeling stressed, also got my period as well as the same old with sleep and BF.
I went out to night and thought I would ditch Laura, I hate the music and part of being able to run is being able to listen to music loud and what ever I want.
I started off nice and steady with Tiny Dancer and tried a completely new route. Half way through I was really comfortable and then Queen Bitch, Last night by The Strokes and Blitzkrieg bop came on. I looked at my watch and thought well I've only got 9 minutes to go ( who would have thought it!!) I might as well go for it and ran as fast as I could go. It was incredible, breathing was fine and my legs just danced and ran to the music. I smiled all the way and belted around the town, running for a couple of extra minutes. It was such a release. Now I'm home; knees are a bit sore but I cannot believe that was me!! I will be back to Laura for run 3; slow and steady as don't want to temp fate or injury. I'm sure I will be stiff tomorrow and i almost feel guilty that I went so quick but for for those moments all the planets alined, the universe was smiling and I loved it! XX

Thank you, little stiff this morning but not too bad. I will be slow next time!. Inspired by your picture I ordered the peregrines when I got home, in green only £42! I have saucony runners so stuck with the brand as they suit my foot shape. Thanks for the post, its so funny actually running like a dream Xx
