I do spin cycle classes Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. I started w1R1 yesterday and thought I’d run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Is this ok to do this or is it madness

I think anyone who spins is mad 😂 The only way to know for sure is to try it. I think the FAQs talk about low impact exercises on your rest days, not sure if spinning falls into that category.
Of course , it is Brillant . Cardio on repair days it’s perfect.👍👏👏
Brilliant advise on here.I think I remember you have resumed running and without reading our posts and interesting story, did you not experience a recent niggle🤔
Been kind to yourself and have patience in rebuilding your running body and brain.
I do not think anyone comes/ brings to the party no assets or no liabilities.
Another light has just gone on for me, that why it is so important to do all of the programme at your pace to give you time to build your liabilities and improve your assets also.🤔
Patience and be kind to yourself.
The programme guidelines are generic not just C25k.👍👏👏
Sorry techie dinasur,wrong box

Spin is very high intensity, so you may find it difficult to do the both when you get into the longer runs in later weeks.

Your regime will be good training but whether you can cope with it only time will tell. Don't worry about taking extra rest days, if necessary.

absolutely fine. That is what I did when I started. The spinning will have stood you in good stead for leg strengthening.

If you do spinning normally ( pre running) I personally think that should be ok. However it depends on how full on you are. I do spinning twice a week and on same days I run ( I have been running for 5 years now...) and its like a fun early morning disco. I do however leave very wet and soggy. I note others do not so its one of those activities you can either do full throttle or in a limp gear.
