Just completed W2R3 πŸ˜ƒ

Easier from breathing point of view but pain down front of both calves especially when walking but still there when running. The pain is more difficult to cope with than the increased breathing. Anyone any suggestions or advice?

Took Dottie ghe dachshund with me again today and it rained :(

Stretch out after each run .

Flex your foot when sitting .

Magnesium flakes in the bath .

Slow down, make sure your footfall is under your body not out in front, avoid heelstriking and land as lightly as possible.

If you don't have running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop, then you might find that makes a difference.

Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is full of tips.

Do you mean your shins? Shins or calves actually I would say Roller! My shins hurt a lot in the early weeks and my roller was my saviour.

I use a roller every night on shins, calves, thighs, hamstrings, everywhere I can. Works wonders 😁

Yes my shins - really sore - may have to get a roller.

Strengthen your legs. An ounce of prevention is worth 452g if cure.
