Since I run by myself it's hard to judge whether my pace isn't too slow. I did w6r3 (25 minutes) today and I covered around 3k in those 25 minutes. This means 5k would take me 40 minutes. Isn't this a bit too slow, or will my pace naturally pick up with more training in the next weeks?
Too slow? : Since I run by myself it's hard to... - Couch to 5K
Too slow?

Don't worry. At this stage it really is just about getting each run done. You can work on distance and speed later.
Everyone is different as are different runs.
40 mins is not bad anyway and I bet you'd be pretty pleased to be able to run for 40 mins...👍💪😁

Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Only something like 5-10% of graduates polled on this forum achieved 5k in 30minutes.
No pace is too slow, unless of course a tortoise overtakes you! Your pace is absolutely fine, you are still building up and slow running is good running for stamina. After graduation take a look at the NHS speed and stamina podcasts. The speed one takes you through sprinting bursts and that helps with pace.
But seriously you’re doing brilliantly as it is
I also did WK6/3 today enjoyed been outside, my mentor is Jo Whiley ... Last minute she said to try running faster ... I was really chuffed to bits that I managed to run fast , (for me) who would of thought
Big grin all over my face
I just enjoying this and not even thinking about how fast I am actually running /jogging
