Well I had a host of reasons/excuses not to run today;

Hadn't gotten a good sleep,

had a tough, physical day

actually fell over at work, slipped somehow and fell on my backside, both my back and foot whinged through the morning

Had drunk all my water at work so knew I was a tad under hydrated

But none of this could balance out the desire to get out there, get it done, to keep the progress going.

My left shoe felt uncomfortable heading out, even after tying it twice, I felt a tad cold, the warm up walk was a batting exercise driving out doubts.

I found the 2 x 10 mins harder than the 20 min run as I reached the toxic phase and wanted to push through to silence the various aches and niggles but had to stop for the walk. The 2nd run was a bit easier but still had a touch of the toxic phase to ignore.

A definite mind over matter session. It's done and I'm looking forward to the long one probably on Sunday as should be out cycling on Saturday.

Similar to me I found it quite tough. Niggles similar too! The next one is in a way better, as you know all you have to do is go! Well done ⭐️🏃🏻‍♀️
