What’s the deal with this forum that let spam enter?!

It's hard to discern who is genuine and who is not. Once they get on, they are booted as soon as they truly reveal themselves. Admins can only do so much - and believe me, they do a LOT for the membership Its easy enough to delete and block the spammer anyway

This issue was dealt with immediately, the problem was recognised,, by Health Unlocked initially and subsequently, we, in the Admin Team.

We all work extremely hard to protect our members from any issues, but, there is a process to be followed.. and, as working volunteers for the forum, sometimes there maybe a slight delay on action being taken.

Don't blame the forum, it can happen to any online board. I got it and reported it. I see it has been dealt with, so no doubt others did the same.

As a forum member, if you recognise Spam or a post with any issue, you are kindly asked to report it via the report button in the drop down box next to where it says ‘Follow post’. The team are notified of a report immediately.This is how the admin team are able to deal with issues very swiftly.

As Oldfloss says, there is a process.

I didn’t know about the … report and when I went back to do that the message was removed already.

I am admin for a Druid Facebook page, and these slip by from time to time - often advertising knock off designer bags. No matter how careful you are with vetting new members, it isnt always possible to tell. Anyway, all gone now😊
