Not giving up

Started C25K in july 2017, done great til November when overwhelming tiredness turned out to be anemia, couple niggles but lost weight, felt great. Had to pause while tablets kicked in, restart January I decided. Well niggle got worse. Ok sitting or standing just everything else hurts. Dr says it's a trapped nerve & to rest?! So I'm paused again. Just paused not stopped & I can still walk gently. 2018 - not giving up!

Walk gently, learn your limits (harder than it sounds!), look after yourself and you'll get back to running. I have long standing back problems which have got much better since I started running 20 months ago, but I still have to take longer breaks between runs than I would like sometimes (like now). I don't think of it as being on the injury couch, I just think of it as my wierd bod! Good luck and hope it's beter soon.

Perseverance and keeping gently mobile is generally better than being static for trapped nerves.

Take care.

Take it easy, but keep mobile and hope your trapped nerve eases soon.
