When I started this back in August at the end of my summer holidays I was embarrassed and worried that people would see me stumbling along. I told hardly anyone I was doing it as I thought they'd think it was a joke.
Now 27 runs, more than 9 weeks later (because sometimes life happens) and lots of support on here, I finally earned my shiny new badge; it's sitting there now next to my name. I know I'll miss Sarah Milican's voice encouraging me on, so I think I'll get her audio book to keep me company on my future runs

You've done really well. I what you mean by feeling embarrassed at the start though. I still try to avoid running down roads where I think people I know are likely to be driving. I prefer to run in parks during daylight, but they are all getting pretty churned up with mud and leaves, so that just leaves darkness as a cover. Silly really, because I am running 10k on a Saturday so I should feel less self conscious by now. I still tell people I'm out walking the dog. I wonder how many have noticed I don't have a dog? 😂
I normally run at 5am before work, with the dog trotting at my side. Like you, I still feel a little self-conscious, but I'm so proud of what I've achieved. I'm going to treat myself to two new running tops - a Couch 25K graduate top and one of the Fat Girls Can Run tops. I'm becoming evangelical - I'm trying to get everyone else out running too! If I can do it, everyone else can too
Hurrah! Congratulations graduate - and good luck with the running "outreach" I was so pleased when I heard someone I knew had taken it up too after I mentioned I was doing C25K - whether I was the only person to mention C25K or one of many, I do not know, but she said it's great! Well done and welcome to the rest of your running life x
