I had a bit of a glitch a couple of weeks ago when my knee gave out on me. I managed to get week six run two in last week but the knee was still giving me some stick. I'm usually up and moving about either in the kitchen, the garden or just in the studio so rest is like punishment for me. I finally felt I was up for a run yesterday and I had it in mind to rewind a bit and go to week four or so for an easy run.
Once I got moving I knew I would be good for a decent run, so I tapped week six run three and got going. It was such a good run. I am at the point where I should be doing straight runs from now on, but I really enjoy the build-up through the week in town and the long run through the bush on the weekend so I am going to continue the way I'm going and just build up longer intervals as I go along.
I am really feeling like a runner this week. Never thought I'd miss going for a run
