Help! I need inspiration and motivation to get me running again! I don't know why I've stopped running.

You must have started C25K for a reason - tell yourself why!

I find that having regular scheduled runs keep me going, for example on a Monday late morning I will have a longer run, Wednesday evening an hour run while my son is doing martial arts, then another run on Saturday mornings which is usually shorter as I am then off doing things. This works for me.

I think you are in a situation where you just need to put on your running gear and get out there - how far through the programme are you and when did you last run?

Hi Wellse, you seem to have been on Week 2 for quite a while...😐

Sounds like you are travelling around a lot, and have hilly terrain to contend with. Have you completed the W2 runs more than twice? As you have been dealing with hills, you may have done enough to increase your stamina to move onto Week 3. Longer runs but less of them. I'm thinking you are a bit stuck at the moment.

If you can, try to find a flattish area for your next run, even if it means doubling back or running in circles it makes so much difference. Fishypieface did all her runs up and down her back garden ( she graduated in style and is now out and about)..

The program does work, and you will be able to do it. Get your gear on and head out...

Keep posting so we can cheer you on.😊x

It’s a little known fact that mojos hide near your trainers, so if your trainers are hiding in a dark cupboard, under the stairs, in the shed or basically anywhere out of sight, then your mojo will undoubtedly be a little shy, because she hasn’t seen daylight for a while.

So take it easy on her, go out for a ‘let’s Just try it’ run. No pressure, no time limits, not even a Week and Run Number, just you and her. See how you and she feel about it. You can then work out your new plan, and maybe that’s the key you need to work out your own plan for you and your mojo. I am like SC1472 and have a sacrosanct schedule, but that doesn’t work for everyone.

But you’ve posted so maybe your mojo isn’t as far away as I think! Good luck and happy running for the next time you give it a go...👍👟🏃🏼‍♀️
