Back today in Boston’s Back Bay

Well what a relief. After weeks of niggling muscle strains in my calves, I took advantage of the jet lag and went for an early morning run in beautiful Boston.

I lived here 30 years ago and I’m back on business almost for the first time since.

It was cold and sunny and quite stunning today. And even better I ran for 30 mins with no problem at all. Across the common down Commonwealth Ave and back up Beacon St.

I felt great having fallen off the course in week 8 about a month ago. I’m going to treat that as week 9 run 1 so I’m just a couple more from graduation.

Slow and steady really does work a treat.

Good to be back in both ways.

As an NYC resident (not Boston, but close enough--there's not many US residents here on HU!) happy that you had a lovely run there today. Also had a nice, crisp, cold run in NYC today, but should have worn gloves! You're almost at graduation-you'll definitely do it!

Yes gloves would have been good. Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully I’ll be back soon in your lovely country!
