Injury advice please

Hi everyone

I’ve been in physio for about a month now because of sore knees after a week 2 run and am now at the stage where I’m supposed to be doing 3 walk/run 10 minute exercises 3 times a week. I did a 5 minute walk/run on the treadmill with the physio and later that night had a sore glute. The next day it felt better. I ran down a flight of stairs last night and ended up with soreness in the same place again. I’m not due to see the physio for 2 weeks. I’m confused as to whether there is now a problem with my glute and I should not be running.

draw on the advise the physio gave you and do what feels right based on that...

I totally agree with what Ju-Ju is saying. And if you're in doubt, would it be possible to give the physio a ring and ask for additional advice?

Hi thanks for all of your advice. I’m tempted to have a shot at the 10 minute workout and see what happens but I know this probably isn’t a good idea. I will see if I can call the physio as you suggest Tomas.

Hi Tomas

Just wanted to say thank you for your great suggestion that I phone my physio. I did and he wasn’t concerned about the flute pain not told me not to try running until the weekend. I had a go yesterday without any niggles or pain at all. So hopefully I will be back on track soon!
