Went to my native Scotland at the weekend to visit our youngest in Edinburgh.

Ran my first outdoor run, in Scotland, in the dark, by myself with my new running shoes.

It was amazing. It was freezing but exhilarating! (note to self.. wear gloves next time) Feeling the wind in your face lifts your spirits like nothing else. Just wanted to keep running but sadly there were some delicious ales and Thai food waiting with our names on them.

W4r1 today on the treadmill. Need to source an outdoor route nearby, trouble is I’m out in the sticks with hills in all directions😂
