Full of snots!!!

Finished the programme at the weekend (yay) and plan to continue with 3 x30 min runs a week but hit wirh the dreaded winter snots!! Did consider wrapping up and heading out but I suffer with my cheat anyway so thinking it's probably not the most sensible idea, but terrified of all that work unravelling. Anyone else survive a cold without damaging progress??

A cold can weaken the heart muscles which is why it's a no-no to exercise hard when we have one. If yours is in the chest then definitely don't run until it clears.

You've graduated, you'll recover from a cold and you'll be back out there soon enough. Presumably this is a lifelong habit now and there is no hurry so don't rush back too soon. Take it slowly and heal properly.
