I have just started running in my mid 50s but am I going too fast I did 4 k in all week 1 sessions and just done first run on wk 2 and did 4.2 k

Did it feel good? Were you able to complete it okay? Maybe you're just a speedy person. There is no problem in slowing down whenever you need, it's supposed to be a light jog.

I did feel good, and I do walk quickly anyway will just have to see how I manage with running for longer times
