Thank you everyone on all the advice you passed on to me after my first run. I have taken it all onboard, I did my 2nd run of week 1 today, it was amazing. What a difference by going sloooooowe π’, enjoying the surroundings and letting Sara Milican guide me. I thought after having a day off it would be like starting from scratch, but it wasn't. I'm now excited to run on sunday. Cheers everyone π»π₯β€οΈ
W1R2 π: Thank you everyone on all the advice... - Couch to 5K
W1R2 π
Oh well done you!
Well done. Isn't it amazing how quickly the running bug grabs hold of us!! ππ
Well done - I made the mistake for the first three weeks of setting off too fast - slow and steady finally got onto my head though! EnjoyπββοΈπ
I too have just completed run 2 wk 1...but found it much harder than the first one. It doesn't help that I feel really self conscious doing it.
Hi Dizzic I had lots of advice off people on the forum which really helped me. I'm also making sure that I have my day off in between. I looked like a red tomato π But was told to wear this like a badge of honor. Check out some of the advice on some of the posts here, it really does work π Good luck π
Wk1R3 now completed and it felt easier than run2...despite having a 3 course roast Sunday roast only a few hours earlier! Took my 11y old with me and that made me feel much better, as he also struggled with the 60s runs.
Yay, well doneπ when is your next run? I start W2 on Tuesday. I go out early before work with the dog πΆ
Well done!!! β€οΈοΈ hope tomorrows run is amazing too
