It is lovely when other runners are supportive while your out. I remember a gentleman giving a lovely thumbs up on a run while I was flagging during the program it boosted my spirits no end.

I did a long run the other day and as I was getting towards the end, there were more and more people, and fewer and fewer of them were getting out of the way or saying hello. I was getting more and more tired and therefore grumpier and grumpier Until I passed three cyclists: a bloke, a small boy and a woman. The bloke and the woman both smiled. The small boy called out, totally unprompted, 'I hope you have a lovely run!' That lifted my heart for the next 4km, until I finished
