Few days break, is that OK?

Week 4 in the bag. So darn pleased with myself, the muscle aches and breathlessness are a thing of the past, I have just used map my run to discover I am doing about 8 mins per km so a ways to go before I am likely to go 5km in 30 minutes

I now can't run for the next 4 days and I'm hoping I do not lose the stamina I hae built up when I come back to it on Saturday. I guess others have had to run less than 3 times a week at times, how did that go for you!

Don't worry about trying to get to 5k, distance is not what c25k is about just concentrate on time, you're doing fine, no you won't lose any stamina over that time..😊

It is generally accepted that it takes about a fortnight before noticeable drop in condition comes into play.

As Dave says, this plan is training you to run for thirty minutes non stop, not to run 5k in thirty minutes. Sorry if you have been misled.

You will probably come back refreshed, but be careful about starting out nice and slow on your eager return.
