My very last 9wk run today and I'm doing it at very first Park Run! I'd like to say I'm looking forward to it but that'd be a lie!! Very nervous!! I've even woken up early to build up tension!!

Enjoy, can’t wait until I’m fit enough to do one.

Have booked myself on one in York in November.

Thank you 😊 I'm not sure I am fit enough! I guess I'll find out! I'm also a bit of a solitary runner, it'll be odd running with others 🤔

Take it slow and steady... start slow... maybe use the first five minute warm up walk from the start line and then run for the 30 minutes... finish with your cool down 5 minutes:)

Don't be tempted to go too fast.... and... enjoy :)

Do it, do it, do it, do it! I'm volunteering at mine today, I really hope you enjoy it, go along, join in, have fun, then report here afterwards.......

I hope you'll love it, I do.....#loveparkrun

Good luck! Let us all know how you get on. :)

Nothing to worry about. Park run is super friendly and welcoming. Walk and run and you will be fine. I am volunteering today but hope to be running next week. Not been able to go for a couple of weeks so looking forward to seeing people again.

Just go and enjoy it.

That is my aim to do my last run at our local park run. I'm only on week 4, but it's great to here about people that have completed the course. Well done and hope you enjoyed your run

Done it!!!! It rained. I huffed & puffed my way round with my daughter by my side (love her). Quite emotional at end. Encouragement by park run people was great. Feeling proud.
