..... is in the bag!! My legs protested quite strongly but the pace and my breathing felt easier on this one. I CAN do this 💪🏻

Of course you can do this, follow the program and just take it slow and steady, no need to try to break any speed records.

Enjoy the runs knowing each one is increasing your fitness and stamina levels.

We done!

You probably can, but don't get too over confident, keep it slow eh!

I'm not trying to be over confident and certainly don't mean for it to come over like that. I'm just proud of myself for getting the second run done when I could've listened to the discomfort in my legs and given up. Don't think there's anything wrong with believing in myself

No there's not, and it's good you have the confidence, but a lot go off too fast and get injured, so don't go thinking I'm having a go at you, it's just friendly advice based on experience..

Congrats, yes you can but keeping it nice and steady wins the day, that first week feels like such an achievement, all the best for the upcoming weeks.

Go you! If I managed to do it you can too! It's a great programme and works well if you follow it, don't try to go too fast and don't forget your rest days.

Happy running. X

Well done you, You should feel proud of yourself, I have just done w1r1 and feel an enormous sense of achievement. Getting out of the house after a day at work is a great step forward for me.

You'll be fine, honestly. I was stiff yesterday but felt better today. My legs did protest at the start of run 2 but it wasn't too bad at all. You can definitely do this! X

Great job! Your legs will get used to it as the weeks progress and won't feel so achey. Make sure you're fitting in some stretches/strength and flexibility exercises on your non-running days. 👍🏻👍🏻🏃‍♀️

That's not something I've really factored in yet. I stretch before and after the run but not on the in between days. Great tip, thanks!

The NHS Strength and Flexibility programme works well alongside C25K, it's a podcast with the same Laura who is on the C25K podcasts.
