Argh! Finished W8R2 today but after a week off. Struggling to find the motivation to get up and out even though when finished I'm glad I've done it.

The end of the course is definitely in sight but it could take me 4 weeks to finish at this rate, not the intended 2. Slow and steady right?

Slow and steady. You can do it! I leave my gear in the dresser the night before to make it easier in the morn to just go and not think about it. As you say its nice when you are done and so worthwhile! 👊👍🏼💪

Yep... always...:) Well done for getting out there:)

Could you try and focus , more now, on enjoying the runs...these longer runs are the icing on the cake.. as Decker says.. lay your stuff out the night before.. I do, because it gives me a buzz... I go to sleep knowing I have a great start to my day on a run day.

We cannot all feel the same about our running, but, as the runs get longer we can take time and enjoy the feelings we get... maybe find a route you really enjoy... look around and relax into the runs... let those legs carry you forward. Start slowly, think about landing lightly, shaking out your arms and relaxing your fists and face... :) It does not matter if it takes you longer, it's a great journey , take your time. I run and then I ramble... that is part of my running joy.

Think as you run, of how far you have come and how much fitter and stronger you are...slow and steady and you will do it:)

Slow and steady is fine, no one is pressuring you to do it quicker than physically you can. But if like me you suffer from the ' can I really be arsed to do this' then get your running kit out somewhere embarrassingly visible, so you can't avoid it. ...

There's a host of us on here want to say well done when you're done and graduated, now you wouldn't want to keep us waiting too long would you?

I know a horribly low blackmailing plea....😉

Get one of those alarm clocks on wheels that starts rolling about around the room when it goes off. Then you'll get half your run done before you even leave the bedroom! :D
