Week 5 run 2 repeat

I had a sore knee not from running but sitting badly I think.... it didn't hurt running or walking so I kept up. when I tried week 5 I was aware of being careful and struggled to get past 5 mins and disappointed. I went back and did week 5 again. Managed the run 1 really well and today the 8 mins too. The second 8 mins was an uphill bit and had to step (was already slow!) but ran a little bit after the end to try and make up for it. Not sure if I should repeat week 2 to be sure I can do the 2x 8 mins before I do run 3. I'm maybe going to try it on my flatter route and do all my runs there. Anyone else done repeats to ensure a run was fully completed before moving on?

If you can move on then I would do so 🙂 A flatter route is very sensible at this stage

No need to make life harder for yourself

You can tackle hills at your leisure once you've graduated 🙂

Thank you. As it's all hilly here I thought I'd get used to it but you're right I need to get basic ability first.

Many folk like to complete the runs for their own satisfaction.. doing it right :)

If you felt you did the run and finished it with your added on bit, that is fine..but if you want to repeat with no stop..that is fine too.

Try to find a bit of flatness:) warm up well start slow and keep it slow... This can be a tricky week, but you will do it... :)

Will do next one on the flat and go for run 3.
