I've happily worked through this programme on my own - though inspired to do it by my husband. So he persuaded me that I should do my graduation run at park run today! So he just went to the car and discovered he left the lights on and we have a flat battery. Am ready to scream. But no - instead now we have to cycle 3 miles or so to get there. Aaah.
hope this mindset isn't going to destroy today. Also registration and induction at university today as returning as mature student. Must think positive.

Ignore them, use the bike ride as your warm up prior to the park run. My local Park Run is about 1-1.5 miles from me and I am actually thinking about using my bike (which currently doesn't get much use) to get to and from it.
Problem is, I probably wouldn't be able to pedal back home!
A great warm up..! Think positive..know you will do this..sometimes the best things happen when we least expect them to! Slow and steady..you are going to be amazing!🙂
The best runs often start out as the worst...
It's a ParkRun it's your graduation run you've done brilliantly well, I am sure it will be fab. Happy running today
Well I hope you were a bit more relaxed by the time you got there and you had a great day. Whatever the outcome of today it is going to be a special day. Sounds like your making some momentous steps to enrich your life, learning to run and university enrolment, exciting times, enjoy your day for everything it is regardless of little hiccups. 😀.
