Hi all just a quick question ,I did r 1 wk 8 Friday ,did McMillan hike Saturday and Sunday I had slight calf stiffness . I've had 2 rest days and wanted to run in morning to work ,would you have another rest day as I still have slight calf stiffness after hike. never had it before only after the walking Sunday

Massage and roller too....if needs be.. probably tight knotted bits.... really loosen those calf muscles up...if in any doubt, take another rest day... I am a bit wary about calf twinges.. ( as you know..)

My physio said the best ones for me as part of my recovery regime...feet slightly apart... raise heels.. then lower them slowly...

I'm no expert so don't know but I'm sure any extra day or two won't scupper anything for you. I do know from experience that exercising when tight can lead to injuries. You sound like you won't need any motivation to get back on track again once the tightness has done one:)!!!
