So I had five days off to heal my blisters, went out with plasters and proper socks (thanks for the socks advice peeps) I re did wk 6 run 1 which was bordering on enjoyable and wrk 6 run 2 this morning which I survived too! I'm back in the game people. Thanks for your words of advice, the few extra days off was good and got me back and motivated 😎

Brilliant, 🐸y!! I had blisters early on (too-tight trainers). They had been 'expertly' fitted in a running shop, so expensive (rip off) - have never fitted properly. Felt bereft & desperate to get back to running so moved on to my son's old athletics trainers (Nike), a bit big for me but SOOO comfortable. Padded the blisters with cushioney stuff you can get at Boots and all was good.
The rain doesn't help. How are we going to manage in autumn/winter - I'm worried already.
