W1R1..like giving birth, you forget the pain afterwards!

Yay I've started! I'm shocked by my lack of fitness but so motivated to do this. The last three 1 min runs were pretty horrible but I got home on a high and now feel great. Roll on Monday and R2!

Slow and steady.. and whatever you do.. don't push :)

Someone posted a post similar to this a while ago ! It is true :)

Just follow the plan... take your rest in between runs.... don't forget to breathe ...and with our incredible support you should have a really happy outcome :)

Well done GGIR, you have done the hardest part, committing and getting started👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😀

So far( I've just finished W5), I can tell you, every run has provided a high like that after the fact. I will admit that for me at least, I have yet to start getting the buzz and enjoying the running part ( although I live in hope that one day it will) . For now, I'm happy to live with the post run buzz😜

Just remember, " you don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to get great!"

Keep it slow and use this forum for advice, motivation etc, etc.

It's great knowing someone else it out there going through the same stuff as me. I love this forum, it's a fantastic motivator.
