Hi folks is it just me or are the graduates speed/stamina/plus podcast paced slow? I think I may be doing it wrong- obviously it's not just 'feet to the beat' but the length of stride.. any advice.. I'm still learning. Thanks 🙏

Yes, many people say that the tempo is too slow for their running cadence and it is very difficult to 'run to the beat'. TBH I gave up with the C25k+ podcasts for this reason.

I haven't tried them as yet as I want to consolidate the 30 minute runs at this stage, interestingly enough my stride must be getting longer as I run as I took 300 fewer paces on my last run which was covering exactly the same route. I was running with a playlist my husband made up when he did Brighton Marathon so the beat must have suited me. It may be a case of experimenting with different speed of beat to see what suits your stride.

Slow runs build legs! They are mixed tempo and will keep your legs guessing. It's not all about faster. It's all part of the progression 🙂

All about the discipline of it more than the speed.. for me anyway... as misswobble says... it quite literally keeps you on your toes...

I find them quite fast, I obviously have a low cadence. The first couple of times I tried them I couldn't do them at all, that got better after a couple of goes. I guess they're like marmite, you either love 'em or hate 'em!

That's why I think I'm doing something wrong.. taking baby steps it's really easy to keep with the beat.. but I run a far shorter distance.. I just wondered if it was just me.
