Completed W2R1 this morning and feeling great. Only started running last week at 57 was worried as not done any sport since teens but loving it. Was reasonably active though with dog walking and physical work during day (not sure my dog who comes is impressed though!!).

You are exactly the type of person this programme is built for. The usual tips at this stage: Keep your pace nice an slow - this will really help as the runs get longer.
Take your rest days to avoid injury (though other exercise is allowed on these days i.e swimming, cycling, walking, yoga, etc.)
Listen to your body - take extra rest days if you need them.
Enjoy and post on here when you want to share - good and bad!
